Salesforce Integration

Resilient Access seamlessly integrated with Salesforce to provide dynamic policy evaluation capabilities to force.com applications. The Salesforce integration is provided in an AppExchange package consisting of the following components:

  1. A force.com canvas application that embeds the Resilient Access Admin console inside the Salesforce user interface. All features of Resilient Access that are available in the standalone version of Resilient Access is available when embedded within Salesforce as well as some Salesforce specific integration features to simplify access control of force.com applications and pages.
  2. A Visual Force component – TrustTag that can be embedded inside Visual Force pages to invokes the Resilient Access policy evaluation when the Visual Force page is loaded in the browser. In the case of Access force.com Page a simple cut and paste of the Visual Force tag provided by Resilient Access Admin Console into the VF page instantly makes the access to the page protected by the policy configured in Resilient Access. For Access force.com Application Resilient Access admin console automatically generates a Login and Logout page for the application that embeds this VF component
  3. A Visual Force Component – EnforcePolicy that should be embedded in all VF pages of a force.com application to securely control access to the application based on a Resilient Access policy.
  4. A Visual Force Controller – Resilient Access Controller that provides the functionality for securely controlling access to a force.com application. Resilient Access Controller must be in the inheritance hierarchy of  the controller for all application pages that are access controlled through a policy defined in Resilient Access
  5. A Custom Object – Resilient Access Session__c that stores the authentication user session for the force.com application protected through a Resilient Access policy.
  6. A Salesforce Authentication Authority that can be configured to perform user authentication using any Salesforce standard or custom object that contains user records
  7. A Salesforce Policy Authority that can be configured to retrieve attributes from any Salesforce standard or custom object and use these attributes in the evaluation of a policy.
